in september 2025, i was selected as 1 of 10 designers to participate in Diversity Consignment’s Project Reworked Runway season 4 competition. each contestant was presented with the challenge of creating a new streetwear look out of a garbage bag of secondhand clothing using the theme of rebellion. the look i created was inspired by vivienne westwood’s plaids and tartans of the punk movement in the 70s as well, modern graffiti and street art, and playing with the way clothing can stand out from the body while still being wearable. this look is created using button down shirts, twill pants, and the garbage bag the clothing came in cut into strips and gathered as trim. i dyed each piece and painted the prints on by hand for a worn, streaky effect. my look placed 2nd in the competition.
